1. Glizzy Gluckers (3-0) +1
129.5-62.5 Win over Keep My Phamily’s Name Out Yo Mouth (1-2)
The Gluckmaster himself came out with his 3rd straight win thanks in large part to another Lamar Jackson (42.5) and Mark Andrews (24) performance. Those 2 alone would have been enough to overcomes Frank’s tailspin team, but he still got some help from Dameon Pierce (19) and Diontae Johnson (12). A 2nd straight down week from Justin Jefferson (2) is concerning, and Allen Robinson (3) quickly went back to the shadows. Christian will have a real shot at 4-0 when he takes on yours truly in Week 4.
2. Dirty D (3-0) +2
102-99.5 Win over How Do You Turn This On? (2-1)
Our matchup of the week winner had it all come down to Monday night, and Zeke Elliott (14.5) didn’t let him down. Another awesome week from Jalen Hurts (31.5) led the charge while Dalvin (14) and Matt Prater (14) pitched in as well. The receiving corps on this squad had a pretty lousy week with Cooks and Bateman onl combining for 7, and a possible injury to Dalvin looms. He’ll get to square up with Andy in Week 4.
3. How Do You Turn This On? (2-1) -2
99.5-102 Loss to Dirty D (3-0)
After 2 straight weeks of dominance, John finally found his match in Week 3. Just about everyone performed well enough this week, but no one had that true breakout day that could make the difference. Mahomes (18), Lamb (18), and Kelce (15) all did well and CMC (15.5) has remained consistent. A possible injury to David Montgomery (1) could pose some issues, but the duo of CEH (11.5) and Melvin Gordon (13.5) are excellent backups. He gets Drew in Week 4 in what looks to be an easy route to a 3rd win.
4. Mickey Mouse Club (2-1) -1
93.5-104 Loss to It’s Not About The Mooney (1-2)
Despite a big day from Cordarrelle Patterson (25) the rest of this squad couldn’t pick up the slack. Kyler Murray (17.5) was solid, and Amon-Ra (10) was solid despite missing some game time with an injury. It was a tough loss for Andy, and things won’t get any easier in Week 4 against a very hot squad.
5. Drake’s New Favorite Team (2-1) +0
117-98.5 Win over Jolly Rodgers (1-2)
LiMonta took sole possession of 2nd place in the Melvins this week, thanks mostly to who else but Josh Allen (33.5). Christian Kirk (16) continues to be worth his contract and Cooper Kupp (14) was good despite it not being a Kupp-esque day. LiMonta very quietly has the 2nd most points scored in the league, and he’ll have a real chance to pad that number a bit against Dan this week.
6. It’s Not About The Mooney (1-2) +3
104-93.5 Win over Mickey Mouse Club (2-1)
Despite Justin Herbert (13) being in obvious pain with a shattered ribcage, Rob’s team pulled this one out against a tough opponent. Scary Terry (15.5) broke 100 yards and Saquon Barkley (21) bounced back from a rough Week 2 as his comeback player of the year tour continues. The Bengals D/ST (15) put up a nice day against the Jets, but there wasn’t much else to see here this week. Leonard Fournette (9.5) was fine and Deebo Samuel has yet to show his big play potential. Let’s see if he can put it all together against John in Week 4.
7. Burrow’s Burgers (1-2) +3
111-92 Win over Clean D (0-3)
John had a solid week in Week 3, riding Joe Burrow’s (26.5) best performance of the year along with RB1 Nick Chubb’s (21.5) excellent thursday night. Jonathan Taylor (12.5) kinda rebounded from an awful Week 2 and Tyler Lockett (11.5) was an excellent waiver claim. On the other side of things, Dawson Knox (4) continues to suck and Michael Carter (4.5) is making it seem like Week 1 was a mirage. John will get a chance to even out his record when he takes on Rob in Week 4.
8. Jolly Rodgers (1-2) -2
98.5-117 Loss to Drake’s New Favorite Team (2-1)
Following his narrow week 1 victory, Steve has now dropped 2 straight. Aaron Rodgers (18) continues to improve and Derrick Henry (23.5) broke out despite an injured offensive line. Jaylen Waddle (14.5) continues to flourish with Tua while DK Metcalf (14.5) looked more like a pre-2022 version of himself. At just under 93 points per week, there is definitely room for improvement on this squad. Luckily he’ll get Frank in Week 4 who is on a major skid.
9. Keep My Phamily’s Name Out Yo Mouth (1-2) -3
62.5-129.5 Loss to Glizzy Gobblers (3-0)
Not even the power of TuAnon could save this team in Week 3. Frankie’s Trey Lance replacement only mustered 12 points after his huge Week 2, and the rest of this squad didn’t really help matters aside from AJ Brown (16.5) D’Andre Swift (5.5) was ineffective and is now facing an injury while AJ Dillon (5) couldn’t tap into the power of his quads. George Kittle (4) was unimpressive in his return while Ja’Marr Chase (9) did not feast on the Jets’ defense as he was expected to. Frank will need a win against Steve in Week 4 if he wants to try to salvage this unfortunate season.
10. MaKamaraka Great Again (1-2) +2
112-94.5 Win over Jesus At Red Rocks (1-2)
Victory was never in doubt, please refrain from reading anything I have written about myself or my team in the last 2 weeks. This feeling of intense joy and optimism will surely last forever. Or at least for a few days.
Ya Boi brought home Win Numero Uno against Dan this week, thanks in large party to Hollywood Brown (23.5) and James Robinson (23.5). It’s only been 3 weeks, but I have cherished every minute with you, James.
The rest of this team, though, looked a whole lot like it did the first 2 weeks. Russell Wilson (10) is bad now and Alvin Kamara (7) has lost a step every since he assaulted that casino patron. TJ Hockenson (8.5) finally did a thing and looks to get more work with Swift injured. Week 3 was fun while it lasted, but facing an undefeated Christian in Week 4 will surely bring a stop to that.
11. Jesus At Red Rocks (1-2) -3
94.5-112 Loss to MaKamaraka Great Again (1-2)
Dan had a strong start to Week 3 with Amari Cooper (22) going off on Thursday, and an Adam Thielen (15) tuddy helped out as well. Three Quarter Jeff Wilsons (10.5) has continued to be a solid Eli Mitchell replacement but Matt Stafford (10) has remained inconsistent. Mike Williams (WR29, 7.5) snagged a touchdown but on only 1 reception. It was a tough Week 3 for Dan and he won’t get much of a break with LiMonta on deck for Week 4.
12. Clean D (0-3) -1
92-111 Loss to Burrow’s Burgers (1-2)
Well at least you had a fun birthday party buddy.
Drew’s Week 3 wasn’t a total disaster, with Derek Carr (23.5) looking solid and Tee Higgins (11.5) pitching in, but the rest of the position players were majorly underwhelming. Austin Ekeler (8) continues to frustrate while James Conner (6.5) had a 2nd straight down week. There is some good news, as Dak Prescott may be able to make it back this week. Unfortunately QB is probably the least of this team’s problems. Funny how that works out. You’ll surely have no issues against the league’s top scorer this week.
