1. The DK Crew (7-4) +1
159-105 Win over Only Fants (5-6)
John dispatched his younger brother with ease this past week, riding a monumentally good week out of Jonathan Taylor (58.5) with great supporting acts from Dalvin Cook (21.5) and Diontae Johnson (24.5). That trio was only .5 points shy of topping Steve’s entire team, so it stands to reason that this was a true rout. Olc’s team once again seems like the squad to beat with the playoffs looming, and a Week 12 showdown with his fellow John could make for a decisive blow.
2. MaKamaraka Great Again (7-4) +1
139.5-77.5 Win over Superfluous Simps (4-7)
Make it 3 straight for ya boy, who now holds 1st place in the Melvins Division after losses from both Dan and LiMonta. Justin Jefferson (37) was the star of the show as he steamrolls towards top-3 WR territory and D’Andre Swift (29.5) and Tommy Two Toes (27) were also quite good. Alvin Kamara’s 2nd straight missed game was a big time bummer, and a short turn around with a Thanksgiving game up this week could push Mark Ingram (12) back into the starting lineup. Luckily for me, my Week 12 assignment is Frank which is already reeking of trap game.
3. Drake’s New Favorite Team (7-4) -2
105.5-116 Loss to Getting Higgy With It (8-3)
LiMonta dropped the ball in Week 11, narrowly missing out on a victory over the true top dog (if you pay attention to numbers and shit). Josh Allen (17) hasn’t been insanely reliable the last few weeks and the Revenge of Sleepy Clyde (15) was whelming at best. Joe Mixon (32) was a nice surprise but the likes of Robby Anderson (5.5), Dan Arnold (0) and Cole Beasley (4) were a major detriment to this team’s attempt at an 8th win. LiMonta will take on a reeling Steve’s team in a divisional matchup.
4. Getting Higgy With It (8-3) +3
116-105.5 Win over Drake’s New Favorite Team (7-4)
In this week’s edition of “I have no idea where to rank this team” Rob won again and if you haven’t been paying attention, he has more of those than any of us do. Rob put his trust in the vaunted New York Giants offense, starting both Daniel Jones (9) and Saquon “3.7 YPC” Barkley (8) but still somehow eked out a win thanks to the likes of CMC (21.5) Scary Terry (23.5) and the Patriots D/ST (26). Rob currently holds the 7th most points and the league’s best record. And if that isn’t proof that life isn’t fair, then I don’t know what is. I assume Rob is playing against someone this week and everything tells me that he’ll win.
5. Mickey Mouse Club (6-5) +0
119-89.5 Win over Ha Gayyyyyyyyy
Andy got back in the Win column this week after an embarrassing defeat in Week 10 against ya boy. Aaron Rodgers (43) was excellent and Darren Waller (19.5) had his best week since Week 1. James Conner (19.5) also got back on track while Michael Pittman (3) did not. While he may not be dominating in points as he has the past few years, Andy is still clinging to the #5 Seed, and he’ll get a chance at a 7th win when he gets to take on Drew’s gutted squad in Week 12.
6. 12 Years A Colluder (6-5) -2
116.5-148 Loss to Dying On This Tannehill (5-6)
Dan has now dropped 2 in a row and has slipped all the way to 6th in the standings after losing a very winnable game against the very team he pillaged over the past week. New addition Davante Adams (31.5) while other new addition AJ Brown (6.5) before leaving with an injury. Lamar Jackson (DNP) mysterious tummy aches cropped up again so Jimmy Garroppolo (16) was an unexciting fill in. Dan will have to pull it together in Week 12 against Christian.
7. Ha Gayyyyyyyyy (5-6) -1
89.5-119 Loss to Mickey Mouse Club (6-5)
After making a move to compete this season, Christian fell well short of victory over Andy in Week 11 and is now on the outside looking in. Dak Prescott (4) completely bombed while CeeDee Lamb (2.5) got a concussion and his prospects for Thursday don’t look great. New addition Mike Evans (17.5) had a solid game and Nick Chubb (28) got down to business but the team as a whole wasn’t nearly enough to get this squad over .500. With a matchup against Dan who is also fighting for his life, it will be a tough go without both Michael Carter and (possibly) Lamb.
8. Dying On This Tannehill (5-6) +1
148-116.5 Win over 12 Years A Colluder (6-5)
John sold his team for scrap over the last 14 days so naturally he was nearly this week’s high scorer. In his effort to accidentally make the playoffs, John saw an excellent week out of Austin Ekeler (39) with nice supporting roles from Tua (21), Gash (17.5), Lockett (18) and Waddle (16).
With the 2nd most points scored and 7th place in the standings, it’s been a frustrating 2021 for John whose team has basically become the inverse of Rob’s. He has a matchup with his fellow John on the table in Week 12 and something tells me that one is going to be a tiny bit harder to accidentally win.
9. Dirty D (5-6) +1
111-41 Win over Calico Cut Lance (1-10)
When your opponent puts up one of if not the worst weeks in league history, it makes sense that you walk away with a W. But that’s not to say Mike’s team did poorly. Jalen Hurts (31) continues his top-5 QB season while Keenan Allen (20.5) and Adam Thielen (18) were a very strong WR duo. Mike Davis (3.5) and Alex Collins (4) on the rushing side, however, were not. While the playoffs isn’t looking terribly likely for Mike, especially with a matchup with Rob on deck, Mike has managed to separate himself enough from the cellar to avoid his 2nd dress appearance. But more on that later.
10. Only Fants (5-6) -2
104.5-159 Loss to The DK Crew (7-4)
Despite a decent week out of Steve’s squad he was no match for the might of JTT. Patty Ice (9) got right back to sucking after his excellent Week 11 and new addition Darnell Mooney (28.5) has been excellent. Stefon Diggs (16) also seems to have been getting into a groove but the RB combo of Jordan Howard (7) and Josh Jacobs (7.5) were a pretty major disappointment. Steve will have a make or break week this holiday weekend with a very tough LiMonta matchup on the dockett.
11. Superfluous Simps (4-7) +0
77.5-139.5 Loss to MaKamaraka Great Again (7-4)
It was an all around down week for the Simpy Boys, with streamer Cam Newton (28) looking like his old self and Jamison Crowder (13) having a solid week. Outside of those 2, though, no one on this squad even managed double digits. The Chargers D/ST were even kind enough to put up a goose egg. With most of his assets traded off and a clear signal to move for keepers, Drew will have to plan for 2022 and suffer through his Week 12 matchup with Andy. Do my eyes deceive me? 2021 is truly a year blessed by our Lord, as we get another DrewperBowl! Except this one will have a lot less meaning for one team.
12. Calico Cut Lance (1-10) +0
41-111 Loss to Dirty D (5-6)
I’m legitimately running out of things to say about this team. At a paltry 88 points per week, this team is truly one of the worst we have seen in quite a while. Chase Claypool (11.5) led the team in scoring this week while Zack Moss (0) and the Bills D/ST (-4) were a detriment. At 1-10, Frank has somehow still not clinched his dress, but can do so this week with a loss from Drew and a win of his own. He gets to square off with the commish this week and quite honestly, too many good things have been happening to me lately for me to not lose this week. See you there, chump.
