1. Mickey Mouse Club +2
It was a strong showing in Week 7 for Andy, riding a breathtaking performance from Tyler Lockett (53.5) who now holds the season-high weekly point total thanks to his 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers (32) also had a great bounce back, while Tee Higgins (15.5), Darren Waller (14) and Tyreek Hill (14) all found the end zone. James Conner (13.5) and Josh Jacobs (4.5) however, did not. Andy is now in 1st place overall and has the most points scored, and he’ll get a crack at the Melvins division leader in Week 8.
2. Hasta Laviska Baby -1
Its now 4 straight wins for John, but this one was a bit closer than last week. Ryan Tannehill (20) juuuust outperformed Gardner Minshew (19) and both DeAndre Hopkins (24) and Chris Godwin (18.5) were excellent. Godwin will be out yet again though, this time with a finger injury. Hopefully the likes of D’Andre Swift (12) and Zeke (5.5) can lighten the load, although Zeke has now had back to back bad games since Dak went down. He’ll square up with Steve in Week 8 who is coming off his 1st win in a month.
3. The Washington Fantasy Team +0
This one was a longshot from the start, as Lamar Miller, Dalvin Cook, and Aaron Jones were all either on bye or hurt. Even with those guys on the field, it was unlikely Murph would be able to have competed with Andy’s robust point total.
The starters who did play proved to be a very top heavy lineup. James Robinson (35) continues his excellent run, but no other player topped 20 points. Hell, only Big Ben (15) and Calvin Ridley (16.5) even managed double digits. CeeDee Lamb (0), like most of the Cowboys, can’t be relied on without a QB and Allen Robinson (9) sustained a concussion. It was a rough week for Dan but he’ll get a reprieve in Week 8 against Rob who will be without Kyler and Scary Terry.
4. Wet Ass P-Words +0
Frank pulled into 2nd place and 1st in the Melvins this week, taking advantage of one of the lesser teams who was without one of their better players in Mark Andrews. With AJ Brown (32) having 3 straight great weeks and the combo of Antonio Gibson (25) and Matt Ryan (25) putting up good numbers, Frank was able to cruise to W number 5. But the blood god demanded sacrifice for such a boon. OBJ left the game and will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. That leaves only Jalen Reagor as the only active WR this week aside from Brown, and it’s still not confirmed if he’ll play.
5. Mike’s Team Stinks +3
Steve finally got the monkey off his back with a narrow victory over Mike in Week 7. Leaning heavily on Russel Wilson (40), this squad was able to make due with less than stellar performances from James White (0.5) and Stefon Diggs (7). JuJu (12.5) also showed some signs of life and is finally back over 10 points per game. It goes without saying, but Derrick Henry (16) is still trucking his way to success despite the early season covid shenanigans. Unfortunately for him, the winning streak may not come to fruition with John on the schedule, although he will be without both Hopkins and Godwin.
6. Revenge of the Mack +1
In yet another nail biter this week, Rob fell short of victory by only 4 points as the heroics of Kyler (45), Gurley (22), and McLaurin (21.5) were not enough to stave off defeat. At 3-4, Rob is juuuust on the outside looking in for the playoffs, and will need to lock down his performance over the next few weeks if we wants to make it to the dance. With both Kyler and McLaurin on bye and Dan returning to full strength, Week 8 will be an uphill battle.
7. Dirty D -2
This was a rough one for Mike, losing by only 5 points in a week where he very well could have snuck by with a victory. Deshaun Watson (30) and Tyler Boyd (26.5) were the only real stars to speak of in this one, as Mike Davis (5.5), Darrel Hederson (9) and Chris Carson (3.5) were all very underwhelming. A bigger week from any of these 3 and this ranking would be a whole lot different. Not to mention, Mike may lose Carson to injury for at least a week, while Deshaun Watson is going into his bye and Michael Thomas is either hurt, fighting people, or both. He’ll get the commish in Week 8 who just completely botched what should have been a Week 7 victory.
8 Chicken Finger Poops -2
With 2 straight losses, Christian has now fallen to 8th place despite a healthy point total of 866.5, which is good for 4th overall. This week was a cavalcade of “what if?”s, as the usual gruesome twosome of Patrick Mahomes (13) and Travis Kecle (4.5) couldn’t even combine for 20 points. Not to mention Devin Singletary (4) who has now put up 3 straight single digit weeks, and Diontae Johnson (24.5) while promising, is out yet again, this time with an ankle injury. He’ll need multiple players to pick up the pace if he wants to avoid flirting with last place in Week 8.
9. Drake’s New Favorite Team +1
LiMonta snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in Week 7, with the trio of Josh Allen (25) Davante Adams (45.5) and DJ Moore (26) to thank. Those 3 absolutely carried this squad, scoring nearly 73% of it’s points as multiple other starters were less than their best. Julio (13) was 3 yards short of the hundo while Adrian Peterson (3.5) continues to be phased out in Detroit. At least La’Mical Perine (12) was able to find the end zone. And for the Jets no less! He’ll get to take on Drew in Week 8, in a matchup where both teams will be starting a Jets running back. I’m sure that will be some must-see TV.
10. DeVante’s Inferno -1
You big idiot. This was your chance, and you just couldn’t do it. Trying to capitalize on what was supposed to be an easy portion of the schedule, yours truly couldn’t come up with the victory thanks in large part to Joe Mixon sitting out and Gio Bernard taking the field for the opposing roster. Jerrick McKinnon (0) vanishing off the face of the earth probably didn’t help either.
Still, Touchdown Tommy (44) had his best week of the season. That man fills me with hope, and other emotions which are weird and deeply confusing. Cole Beasley (21.5) was a nice last minute flex, but the rest of this team was just garbage. Cooper Kupp (8) has only managed double digits twice this year while double agent extraordinaire Jonnu Smith (0.5) has been hobbled. With a weakened Mike on the schedule for Week 8, let’s see if ya boi can pull out a victory this time around.
11. The DK Crew +1
With DK Metcalf (3) and Keenan Allen (but mostly Allen -22) back in the fold, Olc rallied the troops and brought home victory number dos and put a little bit of distance between himself and the dress. Allen, along wth Jamaal Williams (19), Gio Bernard (17.5) and Joe Burrow (43) this squad put up it’s 2nd-best week of the season so far. Even despite some duds from Devonta Freeman (0), Metcalf, and Jimmy Graham (5.5), it was more than enough to secure the win. Still, at 11th in the standings and 11th in points scored, there’s a lot of ground to be made up for this team. He’ll take on Christian in Week 8 with neither team having anyone on bye.
12. D-Ware DW -1
It’s now 5 of 8 weeks that Drew was unable to score 100, this being the 2nd time he’s put up 99. That’s gotta sting. The Tank Commander sits in last place and last in points by a margin of 78, and despite some encouraging performances out of Carson Wentz (34), the Chiefs defense (21), and David Johnson (15) things are looking pretty bleak. Chase Claypool (0.5) only managed 1 measly target while Robert Tonyan has been a letdown since coming over to this squad. With Kenyan Drake (4.5) now looking at missing time, Drew will have to rely on Frank Gore for consistent production, which honestly may be an upgrade from Drake at this point. Even with David Johnson performing, he’ll now go on bye for the Week 8 matchup against LiMonta.
It was a strong showing in Week 7 for Andy, riding a breathtaking performance from Tyler Lockett (53.5) who now holds the season-high weekly point total thanks to his 200 yards and 3 touchdowns.
